my dumb *** friend thinks that for his 250r with a cool head and exhust u no the basices says changing the oil once a year in a 2 stroke is proper i said like every 3 days what do u say?

If you want to get techinal, the owners manual says every 30 hours! I recommend it be done sooner.

it all depends on how much you ride it and how hard you ride it. i would change it every 15-20 hrs trail riding and aobut 5-10 hrs of hard riding. and thats only if you run good synthetic oil not the cheap ****. but thats my suggestion.

synthetics need time to break in so if u change it too often yur doing more harm then good... i use belray gear saver and only doo it every 6mon to yrly depending on riding,. conditions, and if i accidently submerge it in a pond or sumthing stupid like that.
