Just went to this track in Brighton/Fosterburg ILL. This has to be one of the best tracks that I have ever been to. Very quad friendly. The owner has a quad only night on Mondays. The track is open from 1 to 9 PM on weekends and it has lights. He also preps the track and it has to have some of the best dirt I have ever seen. Here is a link to the web site http://www.motomaniamx.com/ . It cost $12.00 dollars to ride. It does require a membership which is $50.00 dollars, but he will let you pay the $12.00 dollars first and if you want to join after testing the track you just pay $38.00 dollars to join. All the jumps are not the quad killers if you come up short. The owner is very nice and does a great job in keeping the track in great condition.

Yeh it is a very nice track, me and some friends were there saturday for their first races. There was a very good turn out for the races and everything was very well organized. It is a great track

I was there saturday for their first race, sweet *** track, extremely fast.

I was #49 on the red 450r. We had 4 quads in the black 24foot haulmark...

I pulled the holeshot on all the A riders both motos and won the B class...let me know if you saw me..

you might have seen me gettin b1thced at too. Everyone was mad because i ran B class.....:ermm:

Yeh we saw you guys i wasnt racing but my friend were my friend was on the 450R. He took first in the C class

were you one of them that swarmed our trailer? I swear i thought we were a pro race team, everyone just flocked around us and was asking me questions, hahaha...

yeh that would be us. that was the first race for them. we had been there all day and was hopin some more quads would show up. Then you guys rolled in with your huge trailor

i wish i would have went there instead of splinter creek but im second in B class district points so ive got to make all those races. hopefully motomania can get on the points schedule for 06

Man that place looks sweet:blah: its 4 1/2 hours from me though but i want to try to make it there sometiime,Thats not to far from that taylorville track right maybe an hour or so?

I think its about 1 - 1.5 hours from tville..

Lovington...20 miles south of Decatur

motomania is a bad *** track, i live about 10.min from there taylorville is about an hour and a half to two hours from there.the last time couple times i was there mx track was not that great but there flat track was nice.

any of you guys ever race splinter creek dirt rides??its only about 5 min. up the road and it a nice track.

No I have never raced there, and never plan to. I do not know if the track is under new ownership, but they never allowed quads to race on the track back when I was big into racing. So I'll stick with MotoMania who liked quads from the start and did not give in because they are popular now.

ya now its quads and motorcross the motorcross screw up the track for the quads and the quads screw up the track for motor cross

Ive raced splinter creek mx track twice this year and have hated it both times. They couldnt prep a track if their lives depended on it. The track is hard as concrete and dry slicked in the corners. There isnt a straight lip on a single jump out there. The track is very dangerous for quads to be on. I hope the track is off the district 18 points schedule for 06 so I never have to go back.
