I just put new triple rate elka's on the front of my 400 and was wondering why they sit so much more straight up then on my friends 450r. I have +1 Burgard A-arms on also. My Elka's seemed to raise my front end, and his Elka's lowered his. I was wondering if this is just the way they sit on the 400's????

Did you get a std triple rate or an ssd triple rate?

I think they are STD. I had ordered Triple rate Rec's without rezzie's from Elka, they ended up sending me dual rates with the wrong springs, so then they send me two other springs to put on to use with the existing main spring in place of the recs. I put them all together right, it kist seems like it sets the fron end up higher instead of lowering it.

I do not have any pics, but they look identical right now to any of the pics of the Elka Triple Rate if you look them up on ebay or Elka's wesite.....

Measure the distance between the lower a-arm pivot at the frame to where the lower shock bolt is. Then measure your stock lower arm in the same place. Tell me if there is any difference.
