whats the best pipe for a 400ex for the price

i would suggest either the curtis sparks.....have mulitple friends with them and are very happy with them.

I had a TC and HMF full on mine,both rip'd,....BUT PLEASE CHECK OUT "WHAT IS THE BEST PIPE FOR 400EX" THREAD.there as to be at least 300 replies alreayd in the 400ex section

Curtis Sparks X-6 is the only way to go.... when i boared the engine to 416 and put in a hot cam then i put a k&n on for some air, i was running a old beat up supper trap with a stock head pipe..... as soon as i stuck the X-6 the power increase was unreal, i can even stay up with my buddy on his cr125 until late 5th gear!

yah go to 400ex forum there are is a section just for this, but i would go with sparks
