I brought the 250r to rausch for the group ride, even if I didn't get it compleatley done which I didn't, I knew I would get close. With some help the motor finaly runs. The front wheels and tires were borrowed, but I got rear wheels and tires now thanks to Ken. I can now count on 1 hand what is left to do on this thing. So here is some pics from this afternoon at Rausch Creek.

Your also missing the front plastics tank strap... the rubber grommet thats holding it to the chassis wount last very long without that on.

Also get some flitz and rub the hell out of the pipe :) you'll see a huge difference.

I have a REALLY stupid question... You say you took it out for a ride????

How did you accomplish that without a Chain? Also see no rear break caliper or rear break disk.

I bought the vinal for it thursday, and put it on the seat friday with duck tape in the truck while I was on my way to Rausch. It was only meant to work for a day. I'm going to be picking up some silver vinal to do something nicer, and get it sewed together, and stapeled to the seat so it will be perfect. I was thinking silver down the middle, and black for the sides. Does anyone else have any ideas?

Stick with all black seat cover or gray/silver to give it contrast and match the front hood..

You still didnt explain the chain thing :)

I never said I took it for a ride, all I said was I got the motor running. The chain is on there now.

Sorry thats all I took of it, and I'm not gonna take more of it now. It's 12:30 and I'm too tired from my second time in 10 months riding, and my first day on a moto cross track.

Why would I spend 50+ dollars on a seat cover when I can go spend 10 dollars for some vinal, and a little work I can have one that is just as good.

Well I learned first hand how much stock 250ex rental quads are for MX. But I had a blast out there on the track, deffinatley one of my favorite days ever as far as riding a quad goes.
