does anyone know what for temperatures powdercoat can stand say if i were to have my header shield done also what temperature do you have to bake that piece you have just powdercoated?

im not going to swear by this (pappy will know) but i think its around 400 degrees? that is how much you bake it at...I THINK

The temp and baking time will vary with each powder. You will be ok coating you heat shield. It wont get hot enough to hurt the powder.

powder bakes at 300 f if i remember right i was just looking through an eastwood cataloge at there PC kits and i thought they said you bake it at 300. they have special powder for high heat parts that can with stand 1000 degrees.

Just use like 10 coats of rustoleum. Thats what my brother did and It's holding up great. It also looks great. A whole lot cheaper than powder coating. You may think I'm crazy, but oh well.
