does anyone know what for temperatures powdercoat can stand say if i were to have my header shield done

also what temperature do you have to bake that piece you have just powdercoated?

dont quote me on this but i think most things are baked at like 350-400 degrees

which is about the same temp it cand withstand before burning

go to the bk powdercoating section of the site and ask pappy, he will know. My heat shield is spraypainted, and no melting yet.

the average powders are cured at 375 to 400 degrees for a cure time that can range from 20 to 45 minutes depending on the part.

heatshields can be done, its almost a daily part to be coated here.
