I've got my valve cover off to install my piston and cam, but I'm not positive on how to find TDC. Any help?

goto brake side of bike . remove the big alan cover bolt. two dots in there lign them up and get tdc when you have valve cover off two marks on sprocket line up also at 3 and 9 oclock. get a owners manual it is worth its weight in gold!!!!:D

HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT MAGURA CLUTCH???

when you take that side plug off with the allen wrench you will see a slot inside that another allen wrench fits. this is what you will turn. turn it clockwise. you will see a dot on the sprocket inside and see a point that you will align it with on the case if i remember right.

When the marks are lined up the cam lobes will be facing towards the intake side. I pulled mine apart tonight, print these off

hey you could just take the plug out and put it in gear then watch for the piston to come all the way to the top

Thanks for the help guys and Kevin I've always had maguras on my bikes and this one is by far the smoothest. They are a little pricey, but I think if anyone ever does splurge on it they will never go back.

Ballpark price is roughly $3.75 for 6 dogs. Can get from Kroger.

I think it was $200 even and about the cheapest place I've found is Rocky Mountain ATV.
