Where is the best place to order works front shocks?
I am interested in the quickest turn around time and best price.
My 400ex has stock arms so I dont need ext length shocks.
I am on the east coast.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

go to the links section of this site, take a minute and look around. you will find numerous places to purchase atv related stuff. I would try marcums atv located in florida. his website and phone number are in the links section.

I would call Works tech support to discuss the applcation you are needing the shock for and make sure they can handle you needs. Then if so order your shocks from them.

so if i ordered some works dual rate w/o rezzies then it would only cost me 230-250 dollars. But i would need them to be the right length for 400ex a-arms, if that would cost more to make. Oh yeah i have a 300ex.

I have works duals on my 300 with lone star +2 400 a-arms that Sandy at works tech support help me with. Theses shocks are a 14.5in. ,stock 300's are a 13.5in. and gives you 9in. of wheel travel. As far as price I don't know off hand but I sent them my 300's works shocks and they rebuilt them for this application for $185.

Is there a big difference between the stock shocks and the works shocks. Have you bottomed them out yet.

i have works on my 440ex and i can bottom them, but it takes i huge leap. my friend had a jumping contest with me on his stock 400ex and had to stop becase the jarring was so bad from the stock shocks. when the works bottom, its somewhat soft because they have a big rubber bushing at the bottom to make it soft. i wish i had got rezzies though because i got mine for christmas and they already need re-filling.:(

I broke one of my shocks off in the same place you did, im glad i didnt wreck because i they popped when i went up the lip of one of my jumps, and then when i landed it broke all the way off.
