wtf, ive reformated my computer like 10 times and a few days after i reformat, i get these search assistants installing themselves on my computer, and they wont go the f*ck away, i cant get a homepage anymore, i set it, and close the internet and come back to the internet and its a search site or i get about.blank.

anyone have any downloadable programs i can use?

microsoft anti spyware works wonders. look into a about blank removal tool.. there are many out there most work.

panda is a good antivirus. i use recomenned AVG it is a free Virus protection and one of the best ones out there.

try spysweeper, adaware, spybot and xoftspy, then download an avg virus trial, one of them is bound to catch it :devil:

do you have adawre, ms wont catch alot, even if you arent experiencing problems right now id still recomend you at least download adawre and run it, you'dbe suprised at how much crap itll pick up

haha i had the exact same problem as you and i use spybot, problem solved. You'll also have to go into the "add or remove programs" thinger and remove a bunch of thta bs

You get search assistant type spyware from browsing porn sites....
