Coming back to quads...suggestions please!

Well, I sold the recon a while back and have been riding a crf230 since but I want to get a quad again. I was wondering what everyone would reccomend? I would be riding mostly desert and dunes with some trails. I would like to have reverse, but that's a HAVE to have. I'm looking for new or newer (00 and up).

BTW, if anyone is looking for a trade I have the 03 crf230 with warranty still on it.

Sounds like you need the new Raptor 700 or something of the likes.

the raptor not reliable?!? jk, i wonder how the new raptor 700 will fair in the reliability department... do you want a 2 stroke or 4 stroke?

I'd prefer a 4 stroke. I was considering the raptor 350/used warrior. Has anybody ridden one in the dunes?

The Z is a great all around quad.

I highly doubt you'd want a Raptor 350 for dunes. Like everyone else is saying, check out the Z/KFX/DVX 400's. I don't think the Raptor 700 should be having a lot of reliability issues.
