with my 400 i ran a 6.4 a couple weekends ago, but that was my first time racin. I know i can do much better. Im gonna be building a wheelie bar, because, i had to slowly let the clutch out in second, while on about 3/4 throttle or my front end would lift up. I also had my airbox lid on, next time i go, im gonna let air outta my tires ( at about 6psi now) and take the lid off my airbox and practice my starts. Reaction time is real important if u want a fast time, im not that good at it yet, my best was like a .780. I run 14 front tooth (stock is 15) but i also have 22 inch rear tires (stock are 20)...and it seems like a good combo so far, for me atleast. Even tho it is a 400ex. Im gonna buy some pro wedge II rear tires instead of my holeshots.

You should probably go down a tooth in the front

I went to the dirt track earlier today, and my best time was 5.1.I weigh about 150,im running a 39 rear, with a 13 up front.Im ruing 22's on the rear, some pro wedges(for sale). The only thing that kept me from running a better time was it came up with me,all I have is a +4 swinger. And my best reaction time was .595,the best if sometin like 4.0 i beleive??.

A front end lowering kit that's a quick easy bolt on would lower your front end too.. should help keep you from wheelieing. Could cause too much wheel spin though. Lowering rear tire pressure could help that.
