well my family has decided to get a new truck, the toyota highlander cant pull what were gonna be getting. so my mom had decided to get either a toyota tundra quad cab, toyota sienna, or 4 runner. i told her not to get the suvs due to the price of gas and that the tundra is about 3-4gs cheaper then the suvs. tell me what ya think.

because diesel is 50 cents more then regular where i live, and we have bought 5 of our last 6 cars from this one toyota dealer, and he hooks us up reallllyyyy good, so thats y were gettin it. and plus we hate all the domestic cars. if u have never owned a new toyota then u wouldnt understand how much better they r then ne ford, gmc, dodge or ne domestic car/truck

I've got a tundra quad cab and i love it! I wouldn't trade it for anything. I have pulled cars, a boat, six quads, just about anything the normal person would pull with it and it did just fine!

my brothers got a tundra and it's nice and all but lacks the power that we need to pull our trailers. my family has a 2005 gmc sierra 2500hd duramax/allison and that ****er pulls!

and for the record i don't think that imports are better. if my big 7000lb truck can tow more than yours AND beat you in a drag race when unloaded then you know there's a problem somewhere....

well we dont need a big *** diesel truck to pull the trailer were getting. and if i had the choice i myself would love to get a 2500 diesel dually or a f-350 dually. but were getting close two 10gs of the sticker price so its only common sense in my eyes that we go with the yotas.

oh and not all of these imports r made over seas. hyundai just opened the biggest car plant in the us. and all there production will be in the us.

Import trucks can't do really heavy work or pull a real heavy trailer. Domestic trucks are the way to go lets see your toyota pull a 28ft enclosed trailer with 4 sleds, not gonna happen. Ford is where it's at.

I pulled a 28ft. enclosed trailer from Indiana (where Toyota trucks are assembled) to the Freemansburg hillclimb with six professional hill climb bikes, a quad, a full size tool box and ran 75 the whole time. No problems other than getting it stoped. A brake control unit cured that problem! I love my yota and i pull with it all the time.

i like toyotas alot but never looked at them as a real hauling or work truck, but with the v8 they have now, and the reliablility of a toyota might now be so bad

I've owned 2 v8 Tundras and they are great for pulling trailers until you get over 5500 lbs. in trailer weight. Toyota claims they are rated up to 7200 lbs but they won't do it. I just got rid of my second Tundra last month and bought a crew cab 2500HD 4x4. My new travel trailer weighs 5900 lbs and my Tunda would only pull it at about 65 mph. My HD will pull it as fast as I want to go. The Tundra will get 16 MPG empty and 6-10 with a trailer(depending on size) behind it.

im 450r51's brother. and i can see where u guys r coming form when u say they dont pull for **** and to buy they huge ***** dually diesel. but we dont need it to pull that much. only a 20' to 26' trailer with 2 quads and a tool chest. and it will be more than enough to pull it. so everyone can stop sayin to buy the huge truck cause we dont need it .

i would go with a tundra or a 4-runner. i guess it just depends on if you want a bed or not.

My dad owns a Toyota Tundra and it is an excellent truck. Plenty of power for pulling a boat or trailer. Believe me they are much higher quality than domestic trucks and that is coming from me who owns a 5.7 Vortec 98 Silverado. I would rather easily own a Tundra over my Silverado but college funds can't afford it right now:( Damn Toyotas and Hondas hold their value like no other!!!
