42 pilot jet

[underpowered]

i just put a 42 pilot in my 400ex. It ran fine before i just wanted to get rid of the choke. now it stumbles on the bottom end and wont hardly idle, i put the 38 back in and it runs normally. What do i do to solve this co i can take off the choke?

I am guessing that you will want to mess with the air fuel screw, lean it out a bit.

try running with out your air box lid more air will lean it out,
