The UPS man has been coming here pretty much everyday, usually bring parts for customers quads or for our shop. When a package is for me I get excited no matter what it is:p

This time, a product I have been looking forward to was delivered, my new LSR Outlaw Linkage and Swing arm. When I first opened the box, it was loaded with those annoying packing peanuts, but LSR sends all it's products in sealed heavy mil bags so I did not have to do the usual "remove peanuts from every area of the parts". Quickly I realized this box contained a myriad of parts!

The guys at LSR have assembled a package that contained everything needed, down to the last nut and bolt along with detailed installation instructions.

All I can say about the parts is they look well made, they were clean (not a fingerprint on the chrome!) and well packaged. As soon as AXIS sends the new rear shock I will be in business and get it all installed.

I was concerned about a skid plate, but that is included also so my worries quickly turned into a smile.

Retail on the complete set up is $1099. When you add up purchasing an aftermarket chrome swing arm, aftermarket linkage and skid plate, I think this is a very reasonably priced set up.

Lonestar claims this new rear end will cure the rear suspension issues associated with the 450R by smoothing out the leverage ratio. A longer rear shock is also required.

One can also order the swing arm powdercoated in various colors along with different color choices for the linkage color to further customize your quad.

Full information is available at Lonestar Racing (http://www.lsracing.com/)

I can't wait to see it on you 450R at the Member Ride, and don't be too alarmed when you can't find your 450R because it will be in good hands:cool:

If the shock arrives, we will thrash to get it all installed, even if it means installing it at the track.

is that basically the same as the walsh setup?

Basically yes...same idea and I believe the ratio is the same...but the LSR has some other groovy items too. And considerably cheaper.

try $1339 with the linkage from walsh. and there is a healthy wait associated with it.

no, that is for a swing arm. they arent dropping $600 off the price to save $12 in shipping.

does burgard have a similar setup,, this is what i want to do to the rear of mine but im trying to conserve the lute if you know what i mean...

Pappy

burgard just makes a standard swing arm, but any of the aftermarket linkages should work with it.

the LSR set up is made to work as a system and i dont think the parts can be swapped with other swing arms
