74.5mm for the 300ex is .020 .040 or .060 over bored? :confused:

That was one thing me and the engine builder didn't talke about. He just put a 74mm HC Weisco piston. I would have went alil overbore if i had thought of it.

Well that was a good choice.From what I was told,it doesnt realy make a difference.You just go over a little once you rebuild.Most people think just cause they bore it over as much as possibiel,then its alot faster.But if you would go al lthe way,then once yuo rebuild,you will need more than a piston.So I thin kyou would haev to go into a big bore if you were already the biggest piston.

But I am not 100% sure,correct me if im wrong.
