I noticed a big power gain after i rejeted it, which was really nice, as for sound it is loud but it sounds good, and if youve got a good filter (UNI or K&N) the combination of it all makes a big difference, overall im 100% pleased, i just wish theyd make a complete system:confused:

Hey thanks for the info i kinda want it loud so thats cool but do i have to rejet it or can i just slip it on and thats it?as for an air filter i do have a k&n so it will be getting more air to it.Also how was the overall fit of the pipe, did the bolt holes line up perfectly?can your quad wheelie easier with this pipe?thanks again!

I would deffinately rejet, it doesnt run to well without doing it. I went up five sizes over the stock jet, and it does help wheelies a good bit, and yea it bolts up just fine, but if the end of your stock header has a little rust on it you might wanna sand it w/ some sand paper.

I also noticed that with my HMF, the header pipe seems just a hair to big so it takes a little sanding to make it work. I am also 100% satisfied.

will anything bad happen if i just put the slip on on and ride it around for a little bit to see how it is because the guy i origanally bought the quad from got the k&n filter and things for it and i dont know if he already rejetted it.will you still feel a power gain if you dont rejett it because i really dont want to go through my carb because its my baby and dont want to mess with it.im thinking its only a slip on so how much would you really have to rejet it anyway.if i have to though ill do 5 sizes up on main and move clip one posision.thats what hmf said.i just want to know if i dont rejett it can i just ride it anyway.should i leave the lid on or off?thanks for your help!

just ride it around and see if it bogs or backfires alot, and if it seems ok dont worry about it

I would NOT ride it until you rejet. Without rejetting you can overheat the engine because it is not going to get as much gas as it needs for the aftermarket pipe. I just put a SuperTrapp IDS-2 full race system on mine and i will not ride it until i rejet. I only rode it down the street once and then to the shed.

yea mine didnt line up perfect either, but it shouldnt be that bad, if you have to you might want to sand a little bit out of the pipe where the header goes in, idk that might help some.

Take a socket thats a little bigger than the opening and hammer it in. They will lione you when you get it on there, mine lines up perfect.
