should i bid on this shock for my 300EX? and wehre could be the cheapest place i could get it revalved.

if it is a rear shock no if they are fronts no because you have elkas just save and get elkas that way the performance will be matched for the front and rear due to the fact that whoever sets your shocks up will have a much easier time doing it
