A month or so ago when i got my new 450r, the guys there said after the breaking it in and my first hard core day of riding to bring it back in so they can service it?

Adjust vales, replace fluids all that jazz.

They said its going to be tops $200.00 bucks that worth it or too much. Or something to just exspect since its new in all!

Imo, you can replace the fluids yourself, and unless the valves are rattling or it isn't starting good, they don't need adjusting. But, then again I try to do as much as I can myself instead of paying someone 60 bucks an hour to look at my quad.

you need to change the engine and tranny oil. the valves probably won't be adjusted right anyways so i would have that done. this is done by changing shims so if you are not familiar with this, have someone else do it. if you were close to me, i would do it for 1/2 price. :D
