View Full Version : Help on 450R colors...Red or Black???

I am gona get a new 450R and cant decide on what color to get it in. Does anyone have anything to say on the black or red. Does the black show stress marks real bad. Any help would be great. Thanks.

i think black looks really good but scratches show up really easy. so i went with the red. and the plastics still look really good.

Yeah, that black looks killer but once it starts to get some scratches/marks on it.....not gonna look so good. But it's up to you!

I think the black is ugly when it's shiny and then when it gets scratched it's that much worse get red and you will be happy

I have black and im shows wear super bad. But all I have to do to make it look good is take a sponge with some tire shine and it makes it look like new.

I have black and after i wash it i dry it off with a dry towell with armor all on it and it looks nice and shiny.

so the black does show wear but it will clean up nice? Does the black show stress marks real bad? All this info is really great guys, thanx alot! I think I am still leaning towards black because I love the way it looks.

Really doesnt matter because there is going to be some point were you say. I wish I would have got the other color... Im going threw that right now. lol

You can run them either way. Whenever Kory Ellis ran them he usually had them on there reversed. It looks like they would do better the way that guy has them. Nice 450's btw.

The Klaw fronts are directional, they only go one way, and the rear Klaws, run one way for softer compund and the other way for a hard compound, but thanks anyway for lookin out for us.:D
