Problem with sproket

Hello i just put a 16 tooth front sproket on my 2003 400ex, now the cover don't seem to fit, and i want my cover on because i don't want to put my fingers in the chain when ill choke my bike. is it normal? if yes what can i do to fix that

case savers wont fit with 16 tooth front sprokets.

why is your choke close to your front sprocket? i could see maybe if it was dark, you was drunk, and the bike was moving how you could stick your finger in the gear while looking for the choke, but you should be fine with no case saver. the heel of your boot isnt going to get sucked up or anything.

thx guys, and it's a safety that i wanted to have, why theyll put a sproket cover if there was no goal at all?
