That is what I am going to do if I do another rebuild, I heard it revs really quick...

yea because i would think it would be better to that than a 440 kit . the stroker kit comes with more stronger parts that u would end up breaking along the way.

I guess it all depends what you ride, I don't think I would ever go 440, maybe 416 or 426, but never 440 in my personal opinion.

Heck, maybe a stroked 416, no theres an idea.

yea u can't go wrong wtih that i want to get a 426 instead of 440 kit but my friend trying to covince into getting a 440kit at the same time it expensive and from what i hear is it even worth it the 426 would do just fine for me and it is cheaper

From what I have read, a 416 and 426 are better than the 440 reliability wise. I would ask Cals400ex though, he has had all 3 and he can definitely tell you the benefits.

If I understand you correctly, I think you could zip tie it to the swingarm. I don't know, a pic would help.

my buddy just built a 460 stroker (440 kit with 4mm stroker crank) as far as revving, it will rev slower. it has a longer distance to travel. a shorter stroke will rev quicker than a longer stroke. would only do a stroker if i needed a new crank. They require a special piston, and are a lot more work to install than just a 426 or 440 kit. he has about 1500 in the motor. they are not cheap, but in the end i think it will be worth it.

yea that is what i am saying because as much as hear things breaking with just 440 kit i thinkit would be better :ermm:

just a lttle help. if you are basing your decision on how the engine revs then i would go with the 440 over the 426. anyone can argue and say they think the 426 would out rev the 440 due to piston size, but if you look at the je piston web site they post the weight of all their pistons. the 440 is lighter by a large margin from the 426. i have the 426 now and have ridden a 440 with the same set up. no difference really. as for reliability i would find it hard to believe that the 440 would be any more or less destructive than the 426. the piston weight equals bob weight and bob weight is what breaks cranks and rods. this being true the lighter piston would be easier on parts correct? and just to clarify i have tried just about every set up but the 440 as of yet, but i am in the next rebuild. right now mine is a 426 with a 13:1 je piston on alcohol and i can run down modded raptors, yfz'z and 450r's. the 450's can get me if htey have teh 520 kit. but on the stock cylinder i have yet to have one pull me.
