what is the hot start lever do? i dont kno and have no clue, can some one please elaborate on this subject

its a decompression lever

It is not a decompression lever at all..Basically what it does is when the motor is hot it has a hard time starting. when you use the "hot start" button or lever it opens up an opening into the intake or carburator from an outside source of cold air making the engine easier to start. Basically it leans out the intake (air/fuel mixture) so you can start the motor when hot.

450R's and CRF's have Auto decompression :)
