What do you during the winter ??

Alright ... so during the winter months , what do you guys and gals do ?? I know some of you are lucky enough to have 80 degree weather all year round , but for some of us the snow is going to fly sooner or later . Hell it's almost the end of August ... snow should be hitting the ground in about a month and a half up here .

Here's what I do during the winter ....

1. I do quite a bit of ice fishing ... I love being out on the lake in the winter .

2. Snowmobiling .... Hopefully this winter I'll be riding a new Ski-Doo REV 600 .

3. Every weekend me and the buddies usually hang out at our Ice shack . We built it last year and it can fit about 10 full size guys no problem .

4. I watch a lot of hockey . Every Friday night , my dad and myself go out to the local arena and watch out town's junior guys play ( level before the NHL) .

So lets hear what you do !!!

i love to hunt and i love to ride my sled..

and sleds are worth it. its the best trail riding you will ever do, just dont go spend 7 grand on one

It all depends if you like sledding or not . Some people don't enjoy being out in the freezing cold and cruising 70 mph which just intensifies the cold .

A few questions to ask yourself ...

Are there enough trails in your area ??
Do you get enough snow ??
Are you willing to trailer if needed ??
Do you have others to ride with?? cuz riding alone sucks .

yea i know some people say bass fishin in the cold winter months, ur crazy, but if u have patience and right lures u can catch them year round... u just have to suffer threw the cold, but hey if im catchin fish its all good

Actually when all the snow melts n theres mud i dont ride period i hate mud.. a lot of ppl might tell me im crazy but im always swerving puddles

Mainly my winer rebuild...I will spend hours a day fine detailing everything.

And winter is when all the big parties hit around here...
cold weather = nothing outside=party inside!

I snowboard....alot. I will make 2 or 3 trips up to vermont for a couple days at the begining and end of the season, nothing like being able to snowboard in jeans and a t shirt and still be too warm. Around here I can usualy ride untill the end of october to mid november untill it gets too cold. O and I love snow storms in a 4 wheel drive truck, get me on a field, and you will see a full sized truck going through a field like those ricers do on a drifting course.:blah:

snowball fights with nieghbors, i especially like when i always get hit in the face with 100% pure ice balls, yeah, its great:rolleyes:

oh yeah, and go out and play on the roads with the truck, and drive around lookin for people to pull out

Yeah We still ride in the winter it takes a couple of feet of snow before we can't go out. Winter riding is awsome when the snow is all packed down!

do a cleaner better rebuild on the 400 than i did last year, and money premitting do a 416 kit, and get it runnin like new i hope, and when not doing that i'll probably be too busy at work to get anything else in, hopefully some skiing in the rockies

go down into the city of buffalo when we get nailed with about 5ft of snow, and make alll the black ppl give us what ever they got in cash and jewelry to pull them out and give them a tow back to there crack shack.

I go snowmobiling in maine and ny state. There is nothing like ripping down the trails at 100mph. Yamaha Rx-1 warrior does the job nicely.

Me and my friend and brother set up a snow track between our yards and it's pretty cool. snow jumps, banked turns, all that stuff. It crosses our road into each others yard. Roads are fun in the winter when they are not plowed because you can slide on all the turns.:cool: I love riding in the snow. Untill you get stuck.:o

lift/work out...run in the freezing cold rocky style....ride and watch football....love goin to basketball games too they are fun....but yeha i mostly try to do my body transformation in winter then summer im a bum and always busy doing other stuff

Hit up the NEMX indoor track with my freinds, ride outside with numerous layers of clothing on. Do alot of stupid stuff that may cause injury, and take apart my 400ex for the 1200th time and powedercoat somethings and tune it all up for indoors. I hope they have indoor races this year, last year it was only practice.

Ride my snowmobile, work alot of O.T. Do doughnuts on my quads and trike sometimes also. Winter time is always fun, you get to see alot of things and go places you normally can't.

every winter i find an old set of tires with barley any tread, either from one of my riding buddies or on ebay, and i stud them up and pull my buddies around on a sled behind the raptor :macho

do alot of dumb stuff, make crazy snow jumps, and just screw around in the snow with a bunch of layers on...there is always something funny/dumb/hurtful to do in the snow
