My boys have a 90cc raptor style quad that rides rough. Its a nice quad and we really like it just unless your 200lbs or something the suspension doesn't give much. My fathers Honda 250 fourtrax quad rides like a marshmellow compared to this little sport quad.

What's a simple fix or where should one start?? The spring/shocks are adjustable etc with the different knotches to set them at. Is that a place to start or does one actually need different springs??

Loosening the preload is all you can do without getting aftermarket shocks.

i think the raptor mini has some adjustment, but truthfully it isnt enough to make a noticable difference on a rider especially if they are lightweight(as in dont weigh so much)

aftermarket usually is the ticket!

Ok will try the preload trick and if that isn' t enough where do I start with after market shocks/springs?? Remembering of course this is just a recreational kids quad and not used for the racing & jumping enthusiast........at least not for a few years!

Check out works shocks. They are good quality, and one of the least expensive aftermarket shocks.
