Wiring Question (Kill Switch Replacing Igniton Key)

Once upon a time i lost my key ripped my key switch out of my 400ex and tried wiring the kil switch as the key. It didnt work. I just need to know what wires go where. Any help would be appreciated. -Mike

um to the ignition coi ot u could prolly wire it tyo your stock on off switch

i figured it out. there is a red wire and a black wire that lead to your key switch if you cut them off and twist them together the starter and could get power. So all i have to do is wire the red wire to one end of the kill switch, and the black wire to another end of the kill switch.
