i jsut put the powerbomb header onto my 400 and after i got everything tightend and whatnot i started it up and its ticking alot louder than it used to,but runs great, does this mean my valves/ cams or w/e need to be adjusted or is this normal for the powerbomb

could be an exhaust leak? did you change the crush gaskets when you put the new header on.

Put a 40 or 42 pilot jet in the carb and it will run much better. I run a powerbong also and it needed a larger pilot jet to get better throttle response when jabbing the throttle real quick.

New crush washers should be installed also when installing a header pipe.

i had the same thing when i put a powerbomb on this spring. all it was was the bolts holding the header to the engine got loose after a bit of use, i re torqued them and have put probably 80 or so hours on it since and no problem.

an easy way to check and see if it is your exhaust is fire that baby up when it is cold and put your hand in front of it and see if you can feel air puffing out.
