FINAL POINTS STANDINGS HAVE BEEN POSTED!!! (http://home.ama-cycle.org/raceresults/atvtypeindex.asp?s=9&year=2005)
Now don't freak out if there happens to be a duplicate name of yours or someone you know in the results. Due to technology, the computer program at times does not recognized duplicate riders because national points are connected together via the riders ATVA/AMA membership card number. NOT YOUR RACING NUMBER. It has always been like that and will continue as well. If an AMA/ATVA membership card number is entered in wrong at an event a duplicate name will be formed which happens quite often but takes literally five seconds to fix. All I need to know is if there is something that needs fixed. Send an email to results@atvaonline.com and it'll be corrected in a matter of moments. Unless I'm not at work or at lunch or something. :D
TIE BREAKS -- If you have questions about ties in the series final standings click here (http://www.atvaonline.com/race/tiebreaker.asp) on how to learn about tie breaking procedures. The computer does not recognize tie breaks therefore the order in which the names of tied riders may appear may not actually be the order in which they finished overall. Check the tie break rules for clarification.
