no im not talking about your girl friend i want to know how many fingers do you use when you grab your clutch i use 4 and ride trails. someone told me that i should start trying to use 2 because you have more control

4, got barnett springs in my 400 and I have to. Several people have gotten on my bike and decided not to ride at all or not for long b/c how stiff the clutch is, but that's how I like it.

all 4, ive still got the stock perch and lever. the way i have my clutch adjusted, i cant completely engage it with just 2 or 1 finger, i have to move my fingers so i can pull it against the grip, but thats how i like it

me too. how many fingers i use depends on how fast i'm going, what the terrain is like, how tired i am and what i'm doing.

i use 4 because my hands are small and even though i have an adjustable lever both towads bar and cable tension i cant seem to get used to using 2 fingers

when i first started ridin and wasnt used to a clutch i used 4 but now i use 2 since im used to the clutch, i think it gives you better control of the bars also cuz you still have 2 fingers on the bars:)

when I saw the title of this thread i'm like whoa,,, WHAT!

lol

2 fingers when i'm getting started then I move up to 3 when everything gets loosened up! I really get some high rpms once i get warmed up. Then one thing turns into another we roll over and before I know it fluid is comin out the overflow!

I got all the positions down pat too, and i do it everywhere on the street, in the woods, wherever!

1 finger all the time. but i need heavier clutch springs, so i may have to use 2.

I always use 2. I am used to my '89 YZ125 which had bent levers to begin with, but it had this kick arse curve to it and was a shorty lever. Using 2 fingers was easy and comfortable.
