i found a great deal on some triple rate works for a 400ex and ive herd from a few people on here that they fit z400s. is it an exact bolt up and do they work properly or do i have to get them revlaved and what not to work right on my bike? auction ends soon and i need to know if i should get these or not.

They work but they lower the quad 3/4 inch. Its not noticable but its still there. If they are under 200 bucks go for it. I didn't notice much of a difference from stock to works besides they don't bottom as much. They take bumps a lil bit better. Save for the elka recs.

STOP!! dont buy em! they won't work! i tried this exact thing myself. they bolt up and everything but the works are EXTREMELY soft on the Z. people are so stupid about the Z and EX shocks..they think because they look the same they are but actually the front ends on the quads are completely different. don't buy them!

Save for the elka recs

Good luck getting elka to valve them correctly the first time. A properly valved set of works are just as good in my opinion and the elka zps are only a true dual rate with the sag spring.
