I cant get my quad timed. The two marks on the top gear are off a little bit. I cant get them to line up perfect with the cylinderhead. Does any one know how to get them marks lined up right?

A lot of times they won't line up perfect. You can get you an adjustable cam gear or just leave it like most ppl.

make sure your flywheel is aligned exactly on the "T" mark. then put the cam sprocket on. 2 of the marks should align the with the head and the other mark should face UP.

the octane you run will depend mostly on the compression ratio of the piston you have.
