New head studs...HELP

Hey guys...I donno if this is a stupid question or not...but how do you remove the stock headstuds to put HD ones in, or is it something for a shop to do?? Thanks

i screw one on upside down, than another one the correct way. tighten them up together. unscrew the lowerone. works for me..

If I were you I would take it to a shop. They will have to drill and tap it for the new studs, And they can make sure it is exactly to specs. Take it to a shop so you wont have to ever worry about it again :)

I used vise grips. piece of cake... Not going to use the studs again, so who cares.

I used two nuts locked together on the HD's I put in. Worked fine.
