What exhaust

just sold the 2001 400ex with a full white brothers exhaust. Buying a 450r. What exhaust should i get?

Pulse Charger
Yoshimura


Those are not in any specific order and all those pipes sound good and have good power gains. But you would be happy with any one of those.

what do you want low end or top end just make sure you get what you want and dont settle for some crap.......I have a LRD pro 4 series full system and it gave me the low end hit but even more top end

Id prabably want an all around good pipe. It has to have a spark arrester on it and cant be that loud either.

Pulse Charger or HMF w/ Quiet Core if it cant be to loud.

i have a pulse charger and everyone that rides my bike wants a PULSE CHARGER because they all say it is so much better than my old duncan full that i had and i agree. i would never get any other pipe

go with the pro circuit t-4 just the slip on. thats all u need trust me. the t-4 was made just for the 450r specs

if you want an all around pipe go with LRD< HMF or pro circiut those are good choices but by far the mowt quietest one would be the pulse charger

rossier is a great pipe all through the power band but if u get one id get the short race can because the long can i got is alil long and sticks out to the grab bar

I would recommend the Pulse Charger too...

You will want to think down the road if you plan any other mods...VCP has released the Hammer Hedz pistons and they are designed to work best with their exhaust and they are soon to release their own cams...all the parts are supposed to compliment each other.

What do you mean just for the 450r specs? is it offered for any other bike? If so, it's not 450r specific. I doubt it's anything but a can with a hole in the end just like every other pipe out there. ANY slip on will get it's *** handed to itself by a full system. The stock headpipe is not stepped or larger in diameter like a full system.

I use a pulsecharger at dunes where a 94db limit is enforced and i don't even get a second glance. I run the stealth core in it as well and couldn't be happier. It's extremely quiet, and unlike other systems that loose several hp when a quiet core is installed, the pc only drops 1-1.5 hp in the mid while top end and bottom actually gain a bit.
