buying a 2004 400ex

Hey all Im looking at buying a new 2004 400ex, I test drove it and loved it. This will be my quad. My question the dealer is asking $4699 w/ a two yr warranty. Is this a good price?

Yep. I paid about $5000 out the door for mine with a 3 year warranty.

why dont you just kick out a few more bux and get the 05 with reverse? the 05s are around 5100 out the door

imho an 05 isnt worth it. honestly how often do you use your reverse? plus 04s look better

i ride an 04 400, but had my dads 660R a couple days ago. i used reverse once...when i got stuck in mud, and it did nothing for me

is that 4600 OTD? if so that sounds like a really good deal. i paid 4800 w/ 6month warranty.

Thanks for the posts I purchased the 04 400ex today, talked them into giving me a gear allowance too :) The only thing that sucked is when they put it together today the gas that it had when shipped clogged it up so one more day to go.
