Does the HMF quiet core help or hurt? More power or less power? I can't find the thing anywhere so Help me out here guys!

hurts power but not alot. Makes quieter and spark arrests. I don't use one but I ride dunes.

you can notice a loss in power (along with sound)

Really, I didnt notice any loss in power when I removed it for a day. Got a lot louder and snappy sounding, I like the core in better myself....
