won't start ?

last ride out.on wifes bike lights went dim then would not start .had to bump start it the rest of the trip. put a new battery in it .still does not start .any thoughts on why it won't start ?

check the ground to the frame same thing happened to my friends...and sure enough it was the ground

that was not it .sanded it cleaned it still nothing .anything esle.

Does your lights work, have you crossed the solenoid over to see if it starts?

I am having the same of similar problems, I turn the switch on the lights, starter button wont work. I can cross the solenoid and start the quad.......

I am not sure what all the neutral safety switch controls....the neutral safety light doesn't light up either...?????

Checked the 15 amp back at the battery: good!

How would it act with it the wire on the neutral switch is broken? Any way to by pass it?

lights don't work when you just turn key on. but if i start it they work .have not checked fuse or solenoid yet i'll try that tomorrow.thanks for the help.

Teufel, I crossed selonoid also started, but don't see fuse on back of the battery. Any other ideas?

The fuses are in the harness and are on the left side(or front end of the battery) mine is doing the same thing I can cross the solenoid and it will start and run. The ignigition switch and or the kill switch on the handle bar will shut it down. My neutral light doesn't come on no matter what.......????

my neutral comes when running . but my lights go dim when i give it gas i let off they go back to normal not sure it like a two stroke ....
