i have a 2005 honda 450r i added an fmf slip on pipe and now just recently i just had the jet kit put on at my dealer the question i have is before i added the jet kit i could kick my quad over on one or two kicks but now after i had the jet kit installed it is alot harder to start took me 5 minutes to get it started today you guys have any info to throw my way about this .................................................. ......................... thank you

put it in nutral. and use the choke.

it is in neutral and the choke is on still hard to turn over

the dealer might of screwed up the jets a little I guess, try bumping up the jet sizes and seeing if it runs better

i would try that but the dealer has all the spare jets i mean it starts but it takes me a few kicks now instead of just one kick now if i run it like this will i mess up the engine at all

bring it to the compression stroke. you do this by slowly kicking it ... slowly.... till it gets hard. then you start from the top of the kick start throw. this will make it a little easer to start. maby try bumping the throttle a cupple times first.

I know of a 450r that when it stalls it is a bear to get going again.
