I have a hot cam 2 that was istalled and taken out the same day. i also have a Ross 416 HC piston that is brand new. i bought these last year when C&D was having their sale so i bought two sets(2 cams, 2 pistons) and only used one.
if you are interested i will sell you both the cam and piston for $180 shipped. i paid $250. the cam has about 15 min. on it, the piston is still in the box.
i put the cam in a stock bore cylinder and didn't like the lose of low end so i put the stock cam right back in. i used the other piston and cam in my other 400ex and it screems compared to the stock 400ex i have.
if you use the thinner gasket that C&D sells you have a 11.2 to 1 compression.

I'll sell the piston without the rings for $65.....I used the rings that came with this one in my other 400ex because the ding bat who bored my cylinder over gapped them. I think they are gapped at .023 and they should be .018 if i remember correctly. C&D said they should be ok but i didn't want to chance it. C&D sells the rings for around $25....or i'll give you the rings i have for an extra $15.

Do you run on pump gas with that compression? Do you have to put in the bigger head studs?

It is a 10.8 with regular gaskits and a 11.2 with the thinner gaskits.
10.8 ..........No
11.2 ..........50/50 mix

I have the stock head studs in the one i built and have not had one problem yet. It starts alot easier than the stocker too.

You shouldn't have any problems running pump gas with 11.2:1. 11.2:1 is stock compression for a Z/KFX/DVX
