Pipe for Scrambler 400

My buddy has a 97 polaris scrambler 400. Hes eliminated the airbox, clamped on a k&n and had it bored a little. He is in need of a new pipe. What performs good on these monster two strokes? Also, I have noticed that alot of the pipes are for 98 and up. Would one of these pipes work with fabrication?

My buddy has a FTR Prerformance pipe for sale cheap. it came off his 2001 scrambler 400 4x4, took it off when he sold it 3 years ago... needs to go .. will sell cheap. He does have pics..

hey bro a great pipe for a 400 scrammy would be hpd-inc.com, hot seat performance.com ,I have the hpd trail pipe and love it adds around 8hp,will need the clutch kit for it also. money well spent.
