Is there anyway I can stop some of my oil leaks on my motor (none are headgaskets or anything) without taking my motor apart? Theres a couple places it is leaking and really making me mad.
Anything?

What would the mechanic from Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior do?

--The rig. How is she?

--Got a cracked timing case cover. lt's broken a couple of teeth off the timing gear. The radiator's damaged at the core. lt's got a cracked water pump. lt's got a fractured injector line.

--Yeah, okay, but what does that mean?

--Twenty-four hours!

--You've got twelve!

Classic...:p

the base gasket was leaky on my 400 motor. I took it back apart and aplied gasket sealer to the gasket. The gasket likes to leak where it goes over the step where the case halves meet.

a good start would be telling us where the leaks are at on your engine

use a liquid gasket on the affected area after removing any grease/oil, or apply silicone.
