Fram oil filters for quads any good???

I was just woundering if fram oil filters for quads are any good?

i have used them before. to me they look the exact same as the napa and the stp filters. here, the fram ones are $4.84 for a 400ex filter at a local walmart store. i now just get mine from C&D and order 10 at a time. this way turns out to be much cheaper for my 450r. i am not sure the price difference on the 400ex though.

I avoid Fram like the plague because they have horrible quality control. The Fram automotive oil filters have a really bad tendency of coming apart on the inside and all of the filter media will move to one side of the filter case. This will allow all of the oil to flow in and out of the filter housing without actually being filtered at all.

It's possible that you can use Fram for your entire life and never have an issue but that's not a chance that I'm willing to take, especially with toys that are this expensive.
