300ex any good?

Just wondering what to expect... I would llike to get a 4 wheeler that is basicaly a great buy... nothing to fast but nothing slow as ****... Somthing that i can have the speed and power when i want it... and somthing that won't get stuck... but that dosn't mean i need 4wd.... Just somthing that can take **** and for me to beat the hell out of...

any ideas?

300ex or a 400ex sounds like what your looking for.

i've rode alot.. i mean not racing or anything like that i started ridding dirt bikes.. i'm not a beginner but by no means an expert... just want somthing that will last forever.. hold its own in most terian.. including snow and mud of course.. and can jump if i want and climb and basicaly preforme the way i want it to.... ya know? Not for extreame jumps where i can do tricks.. but can get decent air... and be pretty damn fast... I'll put preformance parts on it of course ;)

From what your decribeing I say go with a 400.

Honda 400ex - will last a lifetime. Great bike and by no means slow or crappy.

Suzuki z400 - a little faster then the Honda 400ex and has better suspention (newer models)

Do some reseach and go sit/ride them. If you have any questions just ask. Im always up late :)

You can find a used 400ex thats stock for 2 grand.

i sold this 400ex last february for $3k for my 450r so by now you should be able to get one around $2000 for a decnt one

Why did you have 250r grafics on a 400ex?

And to get back on topic, you should be able to find a mostly stock 400ex. That would be perfect. For what you say you want to do the 300ex will be a little underpowered, and the suspension won't be up to the task of those jumps.

the 300ex is a good reliable quad, buy your going to get very bored with it. im not saying the 400ex is the greatest quad but i think it will suit you a lot better. comes stock with 28-29 horsepower, compared to 18 with the 300. its a very forgiving quad, it will handle most anything you give it. plus the aftermarket industry is great for them, extremely cheap.

yeah a 300ex or a 400ex would be good. i have a 300 and like it but sometimes wish i had a 400ex for power. but the 300 is nice cause it has reverse.

sweet i'm going to start looking for the 400ex... I know it dosn't have reverse.. but i rode it today and i never used it the 300ex turns really tight and is really peppy .. but i just need a bit more power and **** like that so i'll be looking for a 400ex for a while... I've learn that it is hard to find one for 2g's so i'll look around to see if i can make payments.. but if you guys know of anybody selling one some what near MO give me a call! or let me know! I'll drive for 3 days if the buy is good! haha but yeah looking to get a 400ex now and going to put alot of aftermarket **** on it!
