i added a 5 inch over swingarm, upped the compression. a 41mm fcr on alcohol, changed the gearing, and my marvin shaw shocks will be on in about a week. this thing pulls hard, and it really hurts alot of peoples feelings. i am having trouble keeping gears in it. i keep breaking second and third gear. i have yet to dyno it but it has ran with modded yfz, 450r's and some banshees. i just love seeing their face when i am right there with them. i did all the engine work myself including the port work. thanks for all replies.

Really nice bike. How do you like the 4- snow tires? right now i got sandstars and living in nebraska where we get snow it would be nice to have a dual purpose tire

the tires work great in the sand, plus under load they expand like a drag slick. they don't take waway from your top end. we drag long distsances here in missouri. if you want to use them for snow you just switch sides and run them the way they are supposed to go and your done. i would imagine they would work great.

I think tha Mark Baldwin at Baldwin Motorsports has a different trans for the 400. I know that he has one for the 250r, but not 100% sure about the 400ex trans.

this tranny is in need of some hardened gears. if i could get a set i would cut the tranny 1-3 but i haven't really checked into it yet. if ayone knows where i could get hardened gears i would appreciate the help.

i had to fab a new link because of the 250r swingarm. the pitch of the mounts are different and you can;t use the stock linkage correctly. in that photo it was bolted up to the swinger directly. now the linkage is installed and works correctly.
