clutch???

Where can I find a site that has a clutch kit to put on a 250ex. I'm thinking about getting one bc I'm going to have my quad for a while and i want to make a better quad than it is now.

there isnt such a thing available for the 250..if you wanted a clutch get a 300ex or just go to a 400.

If you want it for wheelies you can pull the shifter up abouyt half way to a the next grear and you should be able to rev it and then jut let it down.

Wouldn't that just throw out my gearbox?

And 250exridr they do make a kit and i know it cost like $200 for one i even looked on rockymountainatv.com and they have clutch kits but they only have springs and plates not the actual kit.

and thats called a transmission slam:p and it is absolutely HORRIBLE for the tranny. your asking for trouble if you do that alot..

i may be wrong but that is probably just for stiffer springs and more heavy duty clutch plates. just to beef up your current system.

nuetral bombing is hard on parts. a clutch kit, to replace the spings, friction plates an steels is made by a few different companies. DP makes one, it is $90. you can buy parts individually from barnett, KG clutch factory, or some people like the stock clutches best. from KG clutch factory plate kits are $33 and springs are $11.

We used to do it alot on my friends 250ex and there hasent been a problem. I did not think that was bad for it.:eek2:
