Edelbrock carb help

[Crazy400EX]

i just got my carb and im all excited. So i clean it and all that good stuff and take it out for a ride. When i hit any bumps or anything uneven it boggs like its not getting gas. Its just been cleaned and everything. The only thing i can think of is that when i took it apart the check valve came out and i didnt know which way it went in so i put it in with the pointed end up. Help would be nice.

Sounds like your float level is too high.

i take it the check valve you are talking about is the pointed plunger that sits in the hole on the side of the float bowl if so the pointed end should point down as it sits in a angled recess
