well, while riding with my buds today, a bug hit my goggles, and i thought it flew away after, turns out it got into my helmet, and it was a bee or wasp, well 2 minutes later down the road it stung me, and when we stopped to look at my cheek, my friend said "well, it might of stung you, but now its dead"

is it true that bees die after they lose there stinger?

yea....i guess when they lose it and it stick in you it leaves the venom pouch and it keeps pumping venom into you...i saw it on a tv show

Same thing happened to my brother on our last ride. A bee flew into his helmet and stung him right in front of his ear.:eek2:

dude twice i had one of those F*ckers fly in my nose and sting me, once while bmxing, i almost totally wiped goin around the burm, and the other time riding my bike down the street
