like an idiot i set my battery on concrete and it wont hold a charge now

with modifications to the hold down, some trimming to the battery box it will fit.


and the concrete didnt have a thing to do with the battery going dead. todays polymer cases do not allow a draw like the old rubber cases did 70 years ago...lol

cycle batteries have a very short shelf life (the time between being charged and becoming discharged) a battery loses on average 1 % per day of state of charge (veries with type of battery) but the small cycle and lawn and garden batterys self discharge at a higher rate. and this is amplified if the battery starts off discharged.
