the bolt pattern is not standard 450r, the plate has to be shorter from the back holes to the middle holes (on a stock swingarm) on ars/fx it is the front holes

like i said i make my own out of sheet steel!

how do you like this ARSfx/axis stuff ?? Id like to know if the a-arms are good even with the regular balljoints and if the rear end handles good.

rear works great, real smooth

a-arms are nice to, the ball joints need to be replaced each year know of three bottoms that failed in about a year of racing

What do you use to protect the linkage?

Honda are you running a skidplate with your Houser setup?

Yea, I am running the stock skid plate.

Fit very well, like stock.

By the Way, I love the stock skids, very durable and they flex back after hard hits.

One of the main reasons I am not wanting to switch to ARS, but everyone keeps telling me how wonderfull the ARS system works.

I honestly can't believe you would notice that much of a difference, if at all by switching. If you feel your setup is not good enough, I suggest sending the rear shock to Precision Concepts. That will make more of a difference then switching to the ArsFX setup I bet.

I will be using Houser to setup a 06 450R next Spring. I can't wait to get it going. Those new a-arms are awesome...

I actually really like the way the Houser Feels, But I am going to try the ARS-FX stuff, if it is not as good, then I will reinstall the Houser Parts.

I really wanted to run the Houser Slicast front end, but they don't offer a plus forward design, Based on what I have been told, and what the pro's seem to be using, a plus forward system is the better set-up.

I Honestly believe that Houser Racing Has the best Quality products, from what I have seen so far, and I have been nothing but pleased with the rear end, but I do want to try some stuff out, just to be sure.

I may call John, and see if they will build me some + forwards? never hurts to ask!

If i where you i would take ut bike up to good fabricator, and have him make you just a skid for you linkage, and you rotor, and then just run a Sprocket guard. Thats about the setup im running on Johnny Gs old quad, and It works great. Iv never even noticed it wanting to get hung up EVER!
