I think I will take the AC grab bar, but could you send me a pic of it, because I need to see how it bolts up. Does it bolt up like a 300EX grab bar?

hey man, dont keep meaning to jump into your gig, just trying to help..

the only diffrence is the bolt spacing between the 2 mounting bolts, just be sure you get it from an 86-87 or 88-89 depending on the yr yours is, if its aftermarket... most went w/ the 88-89 style

I think the 300ex has a built-in spacer if i remember right:confused:

i ran the 250r 1 on my ex..all i did was drill out where the exhaust bolt went...other than that it fit perfect

I have a used AC XC grab bar drilled for both 87 and 89 style for sale. By the way, a 250R grab bar will mount on a 450 R without mods...

an 88 - 89 trx250r grab bar will fit on a trx450r with no mods, but 86 - 87 trx250r will need to be drilled to fit trx450r.

He did buy the grab bar, all i have left is a new AC wide for 88-89 trx250R or 450R. LEE
