Has anyone put a Durablue front lowering kit on a 450R ???
I have, and I just want to know if anyone else has had any problem.

the first style ive seen drops the shocks inside of the a arms and they can really cause some problems and mess up the shocks.

it might have been here, or 450r.org where it bent the shock shaft, and ruined the shock. i would search but im walking out the door from work . ill try to look tonight if i get online.

Go to Durablues' website. They actually mention the problem they are having with the 450R front lowering kit. Seems Honda made a slight change to the shocks on later 450Rs and there is an interference problem.

A buddy of mine put the durablue lowering kit on his R and it bent the bottom of the shock shafts. The kit looks like hell anyways a true waste of money.

It works great but be careful!!! I just helped my buddy put one on his bike and we had a bit of trouble. When we first put it on and tested for binding, we noticed that the plate would hit the shock if rode hard. We called DuraBlue and it seems Honda made a change on the shock. DuraBlue sent us a new kit where the plate is thicker and has an "S" curve to clear the shock. Make sure you have this plate and you won't have any problems. It handles like a dream!
